Masala Fish Curry

INGREDIENTS :
  • Fish                  - 1/2 kg
  • Onion               - 150 g
  • Tomato            - 100 g
  • Green chilly    - 4
  • Tamarind         - lemon size
  • Turmeric powder  - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander              - 5 tsp
  • Dry red chilly        - 8
  • Cumin                    - 1 tsp
  • Pepper                   - 1/2 tsp
  • Tuvar dal               - 3 tsp
  • Grated coconut     - 1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for fry
METHOD :
  • Clean the fish.
  • Grind coriander, red chilly, cumin, pepper, tuvar dal and coconut.
  • Heat oil add onion, tomato, curry leaf and chilly.
  • Add ground items, tamarind extract, and turmeric powder.
  • Add fish and salt. Allow it to boil for 10 minutes.
