Snake Gourd Poriyal

INGREDIENTS :
  • Snake gourd           - 1 cup
  • Channa dal             - 2 spoon
  • Mustard seeds      - 1/4 tsp
  • Small onion            - 8 - 10
  • Green chilly           - 2
  • Curry leaf              - few
  • Grated coconut     - 2 spoon
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste
METHOD :
  • Cut snake gourd into small pieces.
  • Cook snake gourd and channa dal.
  • Heat oil add mustard seeds, green chilly, curry leaf and chopped onion. Fry well.
  • Add snake gourd, channa dal and salt.
  • Add grated coconut with it. Mix well.
  • Snake gourd poriyal is ready.
