Green Peas Kootu
INGREDIENTS :
- Green peas - 1/2 cup
- Chopped onion - 1/4 cup
- Tomato - 1
- Cinnamon - 1 piece
- Clove - 2
- Cardamom - 2
- Ginger&garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaf
- Coriander leaf
- Oil for fry
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1 spoon
- Channa masala - 1 spoon
METHOD :
- Heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaf and chopped onion. Fry well.
- Add tomato. Fry well.
- Add ginger & garlic paste, clove, cinnamon, and cardamom. Mix well.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder and channa masala.
- Add green peas, salt and water. stir well.
- Allow it to boil for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaf.
