Carrot Poriyal

INGREDIENTS :
  • Carrot                      - 1 cup
  • Small onion             - 8 - 10
  • Urad dal                  - 1/4 tsp
  • Mustard seeds       - 1/4 tsp
  • Green chilly            - 2
  • Curry leaf               - few
  • Grated coconut      - 2 spoon
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste
METHOD :
  • Cut carrot into small pieces.
  • Cook carrot separately.
  • Heat oil add mustard seeds, green chilly, urad dal, curry leaf and chopped onion. Fry till golden brown.
  • Add carrot and salt. Fry well.
  • Add grated coconut with it. Mix well.
  • Carrot poriyal is ready
