- Brinjal - 5
- Small onion - 8 - 10
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Green chilly - 2
- Curry leaf - Few
- Grated coconut - 2 spoon
- Salt to taste
- Oil for fry
- Cut brinjal into small pieces.
- Heat oil add mustard seed, curry leaf, Green chilly, and chopped onion. Fry till golden brown.
- Add brinjal, salt and little water.
- Close it with a lid. Cook in slow flame for 5 - 10 minutes.
- Finally add grated coconut with it. Mix well.
- Brinjal poriyal is ready.
